| A handsome Antique Georgian Sterling Silver lidded Tankard designed in a simple cylindrical form and adorned with three bands of concentric, ribbed ring decoration. An unusual pierced tab finial lifts the hinged mechanism to raise the cover. Made in London, England. Dated 1787. TL Makers. Fully Hallmarked on both the upper edge of the tankard and on the underside of its’ lid. Gorgeous Patina. Excellent Condition. 35 Troy Ounces. Very Heavy Weight. Height- 7 inches (excluding finial).
