Sterling silver sugar spoon in Fontainebleau pattern. Made by Gorham, C 1880. Ovoid bowl with partially serrated rim. Handle decorated with foliage, scrollwork, beading, and 16th-century lady holding a tea kettle and teacup. A sweetly anachronistic design. The pattern was first made C 1880. Hallmarked. Some period wear. Otherwise very good condition.
