The service is decorated with a profusion of flowers and foliage in repoussé. It rests on a tray with contrasting unornamented well. Sculptural and tactile. Characteristic of Baltimore metalwork.

Coffee pot has baluster body and curved vertical spout. Tea kettle and teapot are squat and curved with curved horizontal spout. All pieces have foliate scroll handles except waste bowl, which has no handles, and tray, which has bracket handles. All finials are blossom form.

All pieces hallmarked “S. Kirk & Son” except tray, which is hallmarked “S Stieff.”

Excellent condition with nuanced period patina.
