Rim is inscribed “P Fourier C de Baumon.” A fine piece of pre-revolutionary silver. A meaningful gift for a Francophile or literature lover (Cf. Charles Dickens’ Tale of Two Cities). Sturdy craftsmanship and attractive wear. Very good condition. Hallmark, ca. 1770. Later provincial hallmark, ca. 1810.
