George V sterling silver box. Made by Walker & Hall in Sheffield in 1933. Rectangular with crisp corners, and stepped and rectangular side mounts. Cover is hinged and stepped with stepped tab and allover engine-turned wave pattern. Box underside lined with green leather. Box and cover interior cedar lined and partitioned. Smart and modern. Excellent condition. Hallmarked. Dimensions: Height: 2 ½ in. Width: 6 ¼ in. Depth: 3 ½ in. Weight (with leather and wood): 16.2 troy ounces. BK141 |
