Modern tea and coffee service in 950 silver. Made by Jean E. Puiforcat in France, for Saks Fifth Avenue in New York. This service comprises 1 coffeepot with hinged cover, 1 teapot with hinged cover, 1 sugar with cover, 1 creamer, and 1 tray.
Tray is circular with curved sides, everted rim, and 2 stained wood bracket handles. All other pieces: Globular with flared dome foot and lightly gilt interior. All handles are curved and stained wood, and set in rectilinear mount. All covers have inset stained wood plug finial. All spouts rectilinear with trapezoidal opening.
All pieces have curvilinear Art Deco monogram. An exceptional service in the geometric style. Fully hallmarked with "Jean E. Puiforcat" stamp.
