Victorian sterling silver goblet. Made by Henry John Lias & James Wakely in London in 1878. Ovoid bowl, tapering stem with knop, and circular foot. Bowl exterior has engraved oval and ogee quatrefoil medallions with stylized flowers and guilloche border. Two oval medallions are blank for engraving. Bowl interior has gilt wash. Knop and foot rim are beaded. Fine Modern Victorian design.
