Victorian crystal and sterling silver decanter after design by Christopher Dresser. Made by Hukin & Heath in London in 1882. Long and cylindrical neck, bulbous bowl, and circular foot. Allover faceting. Sterling silver mounts, including rim with flat hinged cover and v-spout. Vertical handle. Cerebral and intelligent. Very much in the style of Christopher Dresser – possibly designed by the master himself. Hallmarked. Excellent condition.
