Pair of 3-light sterling silver Chrysanthemum candelabra. Made by Tiffany & Co. in 1882. Each: baluster shaft on dome foot with 4 scroll supports. Three arms, each terminating in single light, wrapped around central bud. Chrysanthemums and flower heads applied to rims and shaft. Bobeches detachable. Can be converted to candlestick.
The pattern (no. 6997) was produced beginning in 1882. An early adaptation of the famous motif that was first applied to hollowware in 1880. Excellent condition with rich patina.
