George V sterling silver epergne. Made by Martin Hall in Sheffield in 1919. Central conical base on dome foot with scalloped rim. Mounted to body are 4 c-scrolls to which in turn are mounted scrolled arms, each terminating in ring. Each ring supports conical vase terminating in teardrop finial. All vase rims flared with pierced foliage and flowers. Same pierced ornament on foot. Elegant postwar design. Hallmarked. Excellent condition.
