Edward VIII sterling silver wedding (or wager) cup. Made by Birch & Gaydon in London in 1936. Medieval maid with modest headdress, fitted bodice, and bell skirt. Flowered skirt and plain underskirt. Raised arms support scrolled brackets with swing cup. Cup sides decorated with leaves and base with Tudor rose. Skirt interior gilt.
