Pair of German 800 silver bowls, ca 1900. Each: oval with curved sides and flared and scrolled rim. Interior has chased, repousse, and pierced ornament including music-making cherubs and floral garlands. In well, a man strums an instrument while his lady holds an open folio. Charming ancien regime nostalgia. Marked “Made in Germany”. Tests for 800 silver. Very good condition with rich patina.
