Sterling silver and enamel hip flask. Made by Tiffany & Co. in New York, ca 1919. Flask has short neck and hinged, threaded, and cork-lined cover. On cover in red enamel is a camel, a paragon of drought survival. Drink up to survive the desert - physical or metaphorical. Hallmark includes pattern no. 19579A (first produced in 1919) and director’s letter m (1907-47). Very good condition. Minor wear to mouth rim.
