Art Nouveau at its finest. American sterling silver large centerpiece bowl. The whole design undulates in the New Art Style of the late 19th century. This piece is defined by the wavey rolled edge of the centerpiece. Large pierced cross hatched decoration is mixed in with the large figural American Roses, leaves, and stem design. Set on a rim foot. Great hand finishing is shown throughout this piece. A very heavy 66 troy ounces. Diameter is 18 inches with the rim height of 5 inches, bowl opening 9 ¼ inches. Silversmith maker is the well known Redlick Mfg of New York circa 1895.
