| A lovely pair of boat shaped George III open salts made in London1792 by the well know silversmith Robert Hennell. Very pleasing elongated shape with elegant loop handles. The original owners monogram is wonderfully engraved in the distinctive swirled hand engraving of the late 18th century. A light gold wash on the interior of the bowls. Fully hallmarked under the pedestal foot. Length 5 3/4 inches, Height 3 ½ inches. Beautiful antique patina. Perfect condition. 6 ½ troy ounces. | ||||||||||||
