| Beautiful Art Deco sculpture featuring classical forms of cupid and a lady, perhaps Venus. Cupid is resting with a bow in his hand. The woman leans away from him, her body draped in folds of sculpted fabric. Artist is Gustav Obiols Delgado (Spanish, 1858-?). Signed "G. Obiols" near figure of lady. Sculpture attached to green marble base. Solid sculpture but delicate look. Bronze with green patina. Offered by Skinner in 1995 (Lot 609), estimated at $1500-$2500.
