| Beautifully hand-crafted, American pewter tea or coffee pot with black painted handle and decorative incised lines by Roswell Gleason (1799-1887), Dorchester, Massachusetts, ca. 1822-1840. Earliest "Roswell" mark at base. In very good overall condition with very nice patina. Some wear to painted handle and part of wooden finial missing (see pictures). Dimensions are 11"h x 9.5"w at handle and spout. Diameter of the base is 4.75". | ||||||||||||
