This is a very pretty and elegant gilded Sofa made during the middle part of the 19th century from solid beech adorably adorned with a floral crest standing upon the large rectangular seatback and seat flanked by padded armrests and supported by graceful cabriole legs. This item is commonly called a transition piece due to the fact that it boasts both Louis XV and Louis XVI style patterns. The upholstery is in used condition and would have to be replaced.
