This is a rare and very decorative Italian Bed, typical from the Art Deco period during the 1930’s, boasting a stunning mahogany veneer highlighted by an intricately sculpted central panel depicting cherubs with acanthus and floral patterns. The interesting part comes from the fact this bed can be converted into a pair of twin beds. Note several minor scratches and dents that can be seen here and there due to the age. Circa date 1930.
