This is a very decorative mirror made by the beginning of the 20th century, during the Art Nouveau period, directly inspired of the Louis Philippe era several decades earlier. The burgundy frame is intricately embellished with gilt accents and surrounds the original mirror trimmed by tiny beads. Note several minor dark spots on the mirror due to the age. Circa date 1900.
