This is an exquisite box made during the reign of Napoleon III by the middle part of the 19th century combining several types of materials for the most appealing look. This adorable antique is mostly covered with burl rosewood veneer highlighted with inlaid ebony, brass and mother of pearl incrustations and featured its original key. The interior is spacious and reveals several removable storage compartments. Note minor scratches and dents can be seen due to the age. Circa date 1860.
