This is an exquisite late 18th century Provincial Buffet , made by the end of the reign of Louis XV at the beginning of the Louis XVI era, which explains the combination of both styles for an appealing result. The façade offers a lovely 3-drawer frieze upon a pair of recessed paneled doors, highlighted with olive tree branches and raie de cour pattern, revealing a spacious storage compartment with shelf, all standing on a nicely scrolled apron supported by a boldly built pediment remaining the famous cabriole legs. Note several scratches and dents here and there due to the age. Circa date 1780. Dimensions 41”high/ 53”wide/ 19”deep. | |||||||||||
