This is a handsome painted armchair made by the second half of the 19th century, consisting of an arched seatback standing upon a large seat flanked by a nicely pair of scrolled arrest adorned with acanthus pattern and supported by a matching pediment providing a H-shaped stretcher that provides stability and sturdiness. The upholstery is not in original condition and estimated to be around 10 years old, it is in a slight used shape and might need to be replaced. Chips, minor scratches and dents can be seen here and there due to the age. Circa date 1870. Dimensions 45 ½"high/ 15 ¾ seat height/ 27"wide/ 24"deep. | |||||||||||
