This is a stunning set including a pair of armchairs and a sofa, made by the second half of the 19th century during the Renaissance revival period from solid walnut, consisting of rectangular seat-backs standing upon wide seats flanked by exquisite armrests accented with Mythological patterns, all supported by barley twisted legs and stretchers providing stability and sturdiness. Both sofa and pair of armchairs are covered with the classical striped fabrics, which are not original and in slight used condition. Note minor scratches and dents can be seen here and there due to the age. Circa date 1860. Dimensions Armchairs: 35”high/ 18”seat height/ 25”wide/ 21”deep.
