This is a rare pair of decorative panels handcrafted from solid oak by the second part of the 16th century during the reign of Henry IV (1553-1610). Those panels are originally coming from either a Boiserie or a piece of furniture and are depicting women portraits, typical of this era. Note that indeed as you can see with the pictures, time has dramatically aged them. Circa date 1580. Dimensions 14 ½"high/ 8"wide.
