This is an adorable nightstand made during the second half of the 19th century form nicely patinaed purple-wood consisting of a serpentine shaped-rouge royal inset marble sitting upon a lovely embellished façade featuring a single drawer upon a single door accented with delicate moldings and revealing a storage compartment with the original white carara interior, all supported by graceful cabriole legs adorned with acanthus leaves. Note minor scratches and dents can be seen due to the age. Circa date 1870. Dimensions 33”high/ 16 ½”wide/ 16 ½”deep. | |||||||||||
