Please Take 50% Off The Featured Price. This is an exquisite Armoire handmade from solid cherry by the end of the 18th century during the reign of Louis XVI from beautifully patinaed Cherry. This tall and elegantly simple piece is mounted by a flat molded cornice sitting upon a straight façade featuring a stunning pair of recessed paneled doors revealing a spacious storage compartment with 3 shelves. Note the intricate and decorative escutcheons highlighting the doors. The pediment is nicely scrolled and supported by the classical cabriole legs on escargot feet. Please note that while this Armoire is mostly Louis XV style in style, the Louis XVI style influence can be seen with patterns such as the fluted central panel and flat angles.
