|Please Take 50% Off The Featured Price. This is a rare and handsome Bierdermeier Cabinet made from a beautifully patinated cherry by the first quarter of the 19th century. Officially the Biedermeier style and period started in Germany from 1815-1848 and was seen as a simplified interpretation of the French Empire style of the Emperor Napoleon. This elegantly simple piece consists actually of a couple of cabinets connected to each other in their center and offering 2 storage compartments, revealed by paneled recessed doors. One compartment provides shelves while the other offers a straight bar for hanging cloths. Minor scratches and dents can be seen here and there due to the age. Circa date 1820. Dimensions 67"high/ 53"wide with crown/ 48"wide body/ 22"deep.|
