This is a stunning Desk made from solid and beautifully patinaed oak by the second half of the 19th century during the Renaissance revival period. This impressive antique is boasting a fantastic embellishment from the gadrooned rectangular top surrounding a black simili-leather (approx 10 years old) to the belt and pediment below, both intricately sculpted, especially the Harp-shaped legs providing a visual impact as well as sturdiness and stability. This piece is also convenient thanks to a total of 4 hidden drawers offering an efficient storage capacity. Note several scratches and dents can be seen here and there due to the age, also be informed that drawers were recently sanded for easy opening. Circa date 1870. Dimensions 31"high/ 51"wide/ 28"deep.
