This is a magnificent Buffet made from a beautifully patinaed walnut at the beginning of the 19th century, commonly called Enfilade by the French due to its length, consisting of a large rectangular top sitting upon an elegantly simple facade featuring a 3-drawer frieze mounted with wooden knobs, upon 3 paneled recessed doors, separated by demi-lune columns highlighted with bronze ormulus and revealing a spacious storage compartment with single shelf. Note several scratches, dents and other wear can be seen due to the age as well as a few anterior repairs on the drawers and doors. Circa date 1810. Dimensions 43”high/ 78”long/ 24 ˝”deep.
