This is a handsome 4-door cabinet made from solid oak by the end of the 17th century during the reign of Louis XIV and originally coming from Perpignan in south west France near the Spanish border. This massive and imposing antique is featuring 2 spacious storage compartments with single shelves, separated in their center by 3 large drawers. Note that doors and drawers are mounted with their original handles, hinges and escutcheons, however the locks and keys were replaced at some point. Several scratches and dents can be seen all around due to the age. Some anterior repairs can be seen on the front legs. Circa date 1680. Dimensions 77”high/ 67 ½”wide/ 22 ½”deep.
