This is a rare and interesting Wall Water Fountain made at the beginning of the 19th century and upgraded by the previous owner to use as a sink. The back panel is made of solid oak and highlighted by a flat molded cornice and half moon columns accented with bronze ormulus and mounted with their original copper water compartment and sink. The faucet and the bottom external pipe are recent and part of the upgrade. The screws holding the water compartment are not original and been replaced at some point, this latter is mostly for decorative purpose. Circa 1820. Dimensions 62”high/ 25”wide/ 16”deep.
