| A splendid day bed made from solid walnut during the reign of Louis Philippe by the first half of the 19th century. Originally from Provence, this piece boasts a lovely scrolled frame adorned with wheat and floral patterns and suggests that it was made as a present for a wedding due to embellishment located on the front rail depicting a nest with a couple of birds underneath drapery.
