A Chinese famille rose yellow-ground 'dragon and phoenix' bowl, 20cms diam. Xuantong mark and period. (1909-1912) Perfect condition. gilding on rim rubbed.

A finely cast Japanese bronze koro and cover modelled as a resting egret, 13 cms. long, Edo/Meiji period.

A Japanese bronze flower vase, mid 19th century, of quatrefoil cross section, with dragon head and tongue handles. Good condition. With (as yet unidentified) four character maker's mark. Height 26cms.

A Chinese huanghuali brush-pot, bitong, of slightly waisted form, mid Qing dynasty, 18th/19th century. Height 11cms. Old small chips to rim and foot.

A Chinese famille verte yellow-ground brush washer, of shallow circular form, robustly potted, the sides very slightly waisted. 13 cms diam. Kangxi mark. Qing dynasty, 19th century. Perfect condition.

A Chinese bleu de Hue dish for the Vietnamese market, with copper rim, painted with five dragons, the base with the mark 'man tang fu ji' meaning Mark of the hall filled with good fortune. 18.5cms diam. Qing dynasty, 19th century. Good condition.

A large and impressive Chinese flambe-glazed porcelain moon flask, with garlic neck and ruyi head handles, covered in a thick semi translucent red and light blue flambe glaze which finishes neatly at the foot. The base with an incised Qianlong six-character seal mark underneath a mottled brown translucent glaze. Qing dynasty. Height 40 cms. Provenance: Formerly the property of a now aged gentleman collector, this flask has been in storage for some years while he lived abroad...

A large and finely cast Chinese bronze censer and cover modelled as a seated qilin looking back over its shoulder, the unusual saddle-shaped cover with a short funnel for the exit of smoke. Qing dynasty, 18th century. 34 cms high. Good condition with a good old patina.

A fine,large and very heavily cast Japanese bronze flower vase of shaped dodecagonal cross section, with central reticulated floral section and pierced galleried rim. 15 in. 38 cms. high and 29 cms across the top. Edo/Meiji period, mid 19th century. Signed on the base Gyoko. Weight in excess of 3kg.

A copper alloy standing figure Amoghapasha Lokeshvara, well cast, six of the eight arms holding attributes, on half lotus base. Nepal, 18th/19th century. 19 cms. Private UK residence.

A Chinese cloisonne circular box and cover decorated to the top with formal lotus, the sides with flower groups. 10.5cms diam. Qing dynasty. The gilded base incised with a Jiajing mark in a vertical line. Provenance: L. Wannieck, Paris (label). A London collection. Previously the property of a professor in Seal Beach, California. Originally purchased in Pasadena.

A large Japanese bronze flower vase, Edo period, 17th century. 30 cms. Provenence: The collection of the late Simon Digby, Oriental scholar, 1932-2010. A very similar vase, but with different handles, is illustrated by Michael Goedhuis, Chinese and Japanese Bronzes, 1989, pl.92.

A Chinese gilt bronze and cloisonne enamel censer and cover modelled as a standing Buddhistic lion with detachable head, Qianlong period, 18th century, 12 cms. Good condition. Provenance: A private collection, Cornwall, UK.

An unusual Chinese cloisonne enamel bowl, Qianlong, decorated inside and out with red lotus flowers and green lotus pads on a blue ground, the centre of the interior and the base each with a pale green lotus pod. 18 cms diam., 10 cms high. Heavily cast. 830g. I have seen this design on a couple of moon flasks, but never on a deep bowl such as this.
