A Chinese bleu de Hue dish for the Vietnamese market, with copper rim, painted with five dragons, the base with the mark 'man tang fu ji' meaning Mark of the hall filled with good fortune.
18.5cms diam. Qing dynasty, 19th century.

A large and impressive Chinese flambe-glazed porcelain moon flask, with garlic neck and ruyi head handles, covered in a thick semi translucent red and light blue flambe glaze which finishes neatly at the foot. The base with an incised Qianlong six-character seal mark underneath a mottled brown translucent glaze.
Qing dynasty. Height 40 cms.
Provenance: Formerly the property of a now aged gentleman collector, this flask has been in storage for some years while he lived abroad...
A large and finely cast Chinese bronze censer and cover modelled as a seated qilin looking back over its shoulder, the unusual saddle-shaped cover with a short funnel for the exit of smoke. Qing dynasty, 18th century. 34 cms high. Good condition with a good old patina.

A fine,large and very heavily cast Japanese bronze flower vase of shaped dodecagonal cross section, with central reticulated floral section and pierced galleried rim. 15 in. 38 cms. high and 29 cms across the top. Edo/Meiji period, mid 19th century. Signed on the base Gyoko. Weight in excess of 3kg.

I have seen this design on a couple of moon flasks, but never on a deep bowl such as this.
