18th Century Japanese porcelain tea pot and cover of melon fluted ovoid form with overhead bamboo-form handle, painted in enamels with kiku mon and leafy tendrils. Height 12 cm. Diameter 10 cm. The decoration has similarities to pieces from the Kakiemon kiln and is a good example of Arita coloured wares from the 18th Century. In good condition. No chips or cracks.

Japanese Satsuma wine ewer, the body of ovoid form rising to a tall, slender neck with slightly everted mouth, fitted with a low domed cover bearing a bead knop, applied with a simple loop handle and S-spout, decorated in overglaze enamels and gilding with generic scenes and landscape panels against a wave ground, marked to the base Kozan. Height 14 cm. In very good condition. No chips or cracks.

Japanese, Meiji period, satsuma bowl decorated in polychrome enamels and gilding - on the inside are a multitude of Rakan (original disciples of Buddha) in various poses and two writhing dragons amongst scrolling gilded clouds , the Rakan are holding gilded objects in the form of fans, beads, scrolls, sceptres, etc - on the outside are two dragons in pursuit of each other and 8 Samurai famlly crests in raised gold gilding. On the base is an extensive gilded mark flanked by stylized dragons. Height 6 cm. Diameter at rim 11 cm. In very good condition. No chips or cracks.

Japanese satsuma bowl with cerated rim, decorated in o verglaze polychrome enamels and gilding - to the inside, a group of Rakan, a dragon and a Shimazu mon (family crest) - on the outside, a wonderful dragon and a large Shimazu mon. to the base, in iron red and gold, is a rectangular seal mark with artist's signature (possibly Suigetsu). Circa 1870-1880. Height 5 cm. Diameter at rim 12.5 cm. In very good condition. No chips or cracks.

19th Century Japanese deep satsuma bowl signed Fujiyama. Decorated in thick polychrome enamels and gilding - to the interior, a multitude of chrysanthemums with the addition of a Shimazu gilded mon (family crest) - to the exterior, a dragon inblack, red and gild chasing a gold flaming pearl in the form of a Shimazu mon, iron red and gold leaf pattern border to the rim, iron red and gold oyster swirl border to the base. On the base is an iron red-shaped shield with gold characters reading Fujiyama and artist signature (possibly Hodada). Height 9 cm. Diameter at rim 12 cm. Two tiny rim frits and a feint hairline in the glaze down the side (exterior only).

19th Century Japanese Kyoto Satsuma Vase decorated in polychrome enamels with gilding featuring a floral design to the body, two penels bordered in scrolling of iron red and gold depicting river scenes with basket weave fish traps, stylized boat masts behind riverband, gilded scrolling clouds and flowers. Geometric and key fret pattern borders to flat rim, neck and shoulder. Leaf pattern border to the base. Twin lion's head mask handles in iron red, gold and black. Late Edo/early Meiji period. Height 26 cm. In very good condition. No chips or cracks.
