Lloyd Kiva New Handbag Charles Loloma Ornament
Vintage leather handbag crafted by Lloyd Kiva New with brass Sun ornament cast by Charles Loloma.

This mid century modern designer bag was created by the Father of Contemporary Native Fashion, Lloyd Kiva New.

New is known for being the founder of the Institute of American Indian Arts in Santa Fe and also the Craftsman's Court on Scottsdale's Fifth Avenue.

Fine fashion came out of Kiva's gallery and also from Charles Loloma who had a neighboring studio. This lovely hand bag is a collaboration between them, which makes it highly collectible in a couple of categories.

Purchased in about 1960, this is a one owner piece in awesome original condition.

The ivory leather bag is about 11" by 13". There is a zipper pouch on the back, and multiple interior sections.

Buyer pays $20.00 for shipping and insurance.
