Traditionally hand built with native clay, iron oxide slip, the 3 1/2" tall by 3" diameter vase is beautifully formed and painted with mesquite sap and bark pigment. Pit fired.

Purchased from Ida in the mid 1960s, it is in fine condition.

Ida Redbird was inducted post-humously in 1982 into the Arizona Women's Hall of Fame.
