Wedding Vase Lela and Luther Gutierrez
A magnificent large wedding vase created by Lela Gutierrez and painted by her son Luther. This may well be one of her last pieces as she passed on in 1967.

Standing 10 1/2" tall, the spread across the spouts is 9". Graceful shape is enhanced with Luther's artistry.

Over six clay slip colors are employed in the painting of the parrots, kachinas and cloud woman. This polychrome painting style is what made the Gutierrez family famous!

Perfect original condition, purchased at the Pueblo around 1968, from the Nelle and Gerry Ashton Estate.

Buyer pays $30.00 for shipping and insurance.
