Famed Pueblo Indian artist Camilio Sunflower Tafoya was well loved for his whimsical wildlife, sgrafitto carved onto his traditionally made pottery seed jars. This miniature pot features a sly fox stalking an unsuspecting hare! Both are under the Sun which brings all life. Green and white slips are skillfully applied to the natural red. Standing 2" tall and 1 1/2" diameter, signed and dated 1982. Perfect original condition. Buyer pays $15.00 for shipping and insurance. |
