Wonderful floor rug or wall hanger from 1900-1915 era, Navajo Indian woven in the style encouraged by Mr. C.N. Cotton, one of the first Indian Traders. Lovely soft sheep wool was hand carded, dyed and spun. The orange-red is an aniline dye, all other colors are natural wool. 51" by 72". This period piece is in excellent, clean condition.
