Lovely turquoise glaze sets off this fine tall vase by Pine Ridge Sioux Indian potter Olive Cottier, circa 1937-1940. 7 1/4" tall by 3 3/4" diameter, wheel thrown ceramic vase, glazed inside and out, kiln fired. Mint original condition, no chips or cracks. Olive Cottier with her sister Ella Woody, was one of the founding artists at the Pine Ridge High School in the depression era.
