Sweet little melon jar is hand crafted in the traditional way with native clay, stone burnished slip, lightly scored ridges to create the style of a melon. Pit fired to black. From the 1935-1940 era, unsigned but has the sticker of approval from the Santa Fe Indian Market. 6 1/4" tall by 6 1/2" diameter. Fine original condition.
