An elk with a huge rack graces the front of this hand crafted clay pipe by famed Navajo Indian artists Bertha and Silas Claw. The Claws made folk art pottery famous in the 1980s and 90s, opening up a whole new genre for collectors of primitives and folk art. Native clay is hand formed, fired then pinon pitch coated. Signed. 4" long by 1 3/4" wide at the bowl. This is one of several pieces from a local collection of Native American folk art and pottery. Buyer pays $10.00 for shipping. |
