No doubt where this pottery canoe came from, the Maricopa Indians of Phoenix, Arizona!

Actually made and signed by renowned artist Alma Lawrence, circa 1950-70.

Excellent quality craftsmanship, beautifully stone burnished red slip is skillfully painted with mesquite sap and pit fired.

Great tourist item in wonderful original condition.

6 3/4" long 2" wide.

From a fine local collection of folk art pottery by the Indians of Arizona.
