Wonderful tourist style Kachina like those sold by the Fred Harvey Company in the first quarter of the 20th Century. Carved from cottonwood root with hand tools, this belly ache style doll has well defined feet and a carved cape. Tsitoto is the Flower Kachina, missing and ear tab but snout still intact. Standing 13" tall, this old Kachina has some water damage at his feet, just of the paint. From the estate of Orpha MacPherson, it is one of three kachinas by the same hand.
