Wonderful tourist style Kachina like those sold by the Fred Harvey Company in the first quarter of the 20th Century. Carved from cottonwood root with hand tools, this belly ache style doll has well defined feet and a carved ruff. The Zuni type Sipikne is in good original condition and stands 11 1/2" tall. From the estate of Orpha MacPherson, it is one of three kachinas by the same hand. Buyer pays $15.00 for shipping and insurance. |
