The Frog Kachina, Paqua is carved in the traditional style by Hopi Indian artist Clayton Kaniatobe from Second Mesa. The frog is a harbinger of fertility and bringer of water. Carved from dried cottonwood root, painted softly and finished with pahos, prayer feathers, this old style doll stands or hangs 9 3/4" tall. Buyer pays $15.00 for shipping and insurance. |
