Dainty old silver concha belt on links is set with excellent sky blue natural turquoise, the main stone on the buckle looks like old Lone Mountain!
Beautifully hand crafted sterling silver conchas, 1 3/8" by 1 1/8", are scallop edged and tooled then set with a single stone in a rope bezel.
The main concha buckle is 2 1/8" by 1 7/8", set with a central turquoise and surrounded by 12 rounds.
On the back is engraved "To Sue My Darling Love Owen 7/8/54", stamped "Owen A. Bell L.A. Cal." with his brand of a steer skull and initials. A web search brings no information.
Total length is 34". Ladies of those days wore this style of concha belt at their waist to show off!
