A fine basketry bowl is woven by a Klamath Indian back around the turn of the last century. Tule cordage and wefts with a full twist overlay in natural brown and tan plus the yellow quills of a bird. The footed shape is a made for sale style and the weaver is known for her turtle signature, although we don't know her name. 9" diameter by 5" deep. Excellent original condition, no breaks or missing stitches. Buyer pays $20.00 for shipping and insurance. |
