Beautifully woven basket of splits of willow and martynia coiled over a three rod foundation. The Apache Indian of Eastern arizona were accomplished weavers in the late 19th and early 20th century, they could barter these for goods and services.
This sweet little bowl is 3" deep by 5" diameter, seven coils and fifteen wefts per inch.
Perfect original condition! It displays equally as well up side down.
